Wheel throwing workshop- July

Service Description

A thorough introduction to the basics steps of wheel throwing and glazing. There is no need for previous experience; all levels are welcome. Workshops are taught in English. - SESSION 1 AND 2: Introduction to the material and technique; learn how to prepare the clay, center it on the wheel and learn how to throw cylinders, bowls, and more with special guidance. ​ - SESSION 3: Refine the pieces made during the previous classes by learning the steps of trimming. After that, the pieces will go through the first firing. ​ - SESSION 4: Decorate your pieces, learn about glazes and their different applications, and finalize your pieces before the final firing. All pieces will be ready to pick up approximately 2 to 3 weeks after the last session (you will be contacted). ​ EASY TERMS AND CONDITIONS (VALID FOR ALL WORKSHOPS): - Full refunds are available up to 20 days before the lesson, after which a 100 CHF processing fee per person applies. Unfortunately, I can't offer refunds within 7 days of the lesson. In case of sudden sickness or emergencies, this is negotiable. - After each session, you are responsible for cleaning the area you used (the wheel and tools). - Often, my small dog is at the studio. If you are afraid of dogs, please let me know before.

Cancelation Policy
