Wheel throwing workshop- July/August

Service Description

This 4 participants course offers a thorough introduction to the basic steps of wheel throwing and glazing. There is no need for previous experience; all levels are welcome. Workshops are taught in English. - SESSION 1 AND 2: Introduction to the material and technique; learn how to prepare the clay, center it on the wheel, and learn how to throw cylinders, bowls, and more with special guidance. ​ - SESSION 3: Refine the pieces made during the previous classes by learning the steps of trimming. After that, the pieces will go through the first firing. ​ - SESSION 4: Decorate your pieces, learn about glazes and their different applications, and finalize your pieces before the final firing. All pieces will be ready to pick up approximately 2 to 3 weeks after the last session (you will be contacted). ​ EASY TERMS AND CONDITIONS (VALID FOR ALL WORKSHOPS): - Full refunds are available within 24 hours of purchase, after that, the booking and payment is binding. -If a class gets cancelled, you will receive full refund. - After each session, you are responsible for cleaning the area you used (the wheel and tools). - Insurance is the responsibility of the student. Quema Studio is absolved of any liability. - Often, my small dog is at the studio. If you are afraid of dogs, please let me know before.
